Imagine exchanging vows in a beautiful, country setting near Asheville. Set on 12 picturesque acres and surrounded by the North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, Engadine can accommodate up to 35 overnight guests and host events of up to 100 people. Our lodging options include a historic Victorian house and six cozy mountain cabins. Complementing the house and cabins are two outdoor event spaces, each with its own and unique mountain view.
For larger weddings (up to 100 guests), our beautiful properties near Asheville offers two outdoor, open-air venues, both of which have spectacular views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains. You’re welcome to use one or both of our venue locations in order to accommodate your family, friends and loved ones.
Honey Hill is a large grassy meadow with adequate space for hosting both a ceremony and a reception to follow at opposite ends. The west end of Honey Hill has a dramatic view of nearby Thompson Knob which is particularly striking at sunset. The east end of Honey Hill is anchored by a tremendous white oak tree which is uplit and accented with hanging lanterns. Uplighting is also used to highlight trees around the perimeter.
For North Carolina mountain elopements, or smaller weddings for up to 25 guests, we make available the facilities at our Victorian house. This is a wonderful choice if you would prefer an indoor venue and have an appreciation for the old world charm or the house’s historic architecture.
We have a variety of ceremony and gathering areas at our historic Victorian house for your romantic Blue Ridge Mountain wedding near Asheville. Choose from a variety of beautiful spaces, including the parlor, the dining room, the foyer, or the wrap-around first-floor porch. You may still combine use of our larger outdoor spaces to create your ideal celebration.
